George Charalambous
George Charalambous is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 16 years of experience in both the private and public sector. He has provided contract administration and project management services on projects up to a value of £15 million. Other activities undertaken include party wall, dilapidations, Building Condition Surveys and listed buildings.
George has vast experience overseeing and managing schemes for clients across a range of sectors. He has acted as Contract Administrator and Employers Agent under various JCT forms of Contract to deliver schemes such as roof and window replacements, glulam beam remedial works, heritage refurbishments and new build developments.
George plays a client facing role and assists clients on a strategic level to understand their asset portfolio and develop ongoing maintenance, growth and redevelopment strategies. This advice consists of estate-wide surveys and planning along with prioritising works in line with overall budgets and funding streams available. In addition, George is responsible for the strategic delivery of frameworks and long term client engagements.
George has also worked extensively within the housing sector for a number of housing associations. He has strong commercial and leisure experience with key clients such as large national hotel chains, institutional not-for-profit trusts and a multi-national commercial property investment company.
