Thomas & Thomas’ Three Peaks Challenge

In aid of UNIQUE (Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group)

Date: 20th February 2026

At Thomas & Thomas, we love a challenge, and we love to give something back to the community (plus it helps to motivate us to get outdoors and get active). This year, we have chosen a new charity to support…

UNIQUE (Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group)

UNIQUE is a UK-based charity supporting families and individuals affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders. Founded in 1984, it connects members worldwide who are dealing with conditions caused by missing, extra, or rearranged genetic material. UNIQUE provides reliable, plain-language medical information guides, a family matching service, and emotional support through online groups and events. Funded by donations and membership, UNIQUE aims to reduce isolation, empower families with knowledge, and build a global community around rare chromosome disorders.

“We’re taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for UNIQUE because this is a charity that genuinely changes lives. I have seen first-hand the excellent work they do supporting families when they need it the most. Every donation, big or small, will help them continue their vital work, and we’re incredibly grateful for any support you can give.”
Jonny Callard (Director)

Three Peaks in 24 hours

This year, we have, in our collective wisdom, decided to take on the Three Peaks Challenge. This is a demanding UK mountain event where participants climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all in one day, travelling between them by road. It tests endurance, teamwork and logistics. So that’s:

  1. BEN NEVIS – (1,345m) the highest and most demanding
  2. SCAFELL PIKE – (978m) a rocky route
  3. SNOWDON (Yr Wyddfa) – (1,085m) easier on tired legs

…aiming to complete all three peaks within 24 hours. The proposed date is Friday, 24 April 2026, so put that in your diary and think of us as we stride, scramble and leap over rugged gradients.

High ideals

We like to think we have strong values and high ideals. You’ll have seen this in our work practice and now we’re going to enact it across the UK. Will we manage to squeeze all 3 peaks into a single day? We are very determined to, but who knows what may happen on the day. Freezing rain, fog or thunderstorms? Follow us on social media to keep up to date with our intrepid activities.

Thomas & Thomas: supporting charities, and putting heart and soul into everything we do.
