Three Peaks Conquered!

We successfully completed our charity challenge in aid of UNIQUE (Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group)

Date: 16th July 2026

We’re delighted to have successfully completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of Unique, an incredible charity that makes a real difference to families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders.

Heat, fatigue and an uphill struggle

The challenge pushed us to our limits from start to finish. We faced soaring temperatures, battled fatigue and cramping legs, and endured little to no sleep over the course of the journey. On Ben Nevis, we were met with snow at the summit, a stark contrast to the warm conditions we experienced elsewhere. As if the mountains themselves weren’t enough, we also had to contend with a broken van boot that effectively held our kit hostage, along with traffic delays that tested our patience and threatened our schedule.

Unforgettable

Despite the obstacles, the experience delivered some truly unforgettable moments. The breathtaking views from each summit, the spectacular sunrise, and the sense of achievement that came with every step made the challenge worthwhile. Most importantly, we were overwhelmed by the support and encouragement we received throughout the journey, both for the team and for Unique.

Thank you for your donations

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising efforts, sent messages of support, and cheered us on along the way. Your generosity and encouragement helped carry us through the toughest moments. Completing the challenge was a team effort, and knowing we were doing it for such a worthwhile cause made every climb, every mile, and every challenge worth it. We were able to beat our target and raised a total of £2,740.00 to help support the important work Unique does to support families.

Thank you for helping us support UNIQUE and the incredible work they do.
